Progression of a Painting - Currently Going On - Interactive Piece

Sneak Peak 5

Sneak Peak #4

Sneak Peak 3

Sneak Peak 2

Sneak Peak 1

I've recently just started a piece, and via social media platforms have asked people to "Describe music or art using one adjective." I've broadened my question to include song lyrics or anything that would like to see in the piece I am currently working on. I don't guarantee to use everything sent my way, but if it's relevant and I feel the creative urge to use it I will. Until I'm satisfied that the piece is completed, I am most likely going to use everything that is suggested to me.

Keep checking back because I plan on adding pictures of the progression of this piece. You will get to see how my creative mind lets loose.

Here are a list of words I've received so far:

#14 - high hope clouds

Painting #14 - high hope clouds
Acrylic, masking tape, Canvas.
(The pictures don't do the colors justice on this painting. No matter how many shots I took I still couldn't get it right. It's a must see.)

Oldie But Goodie

This is a painting I did in 2005.
It is owned by: Leann Norris.
It resides in California.

I miss seeing this one on my own wall, but it really is inspiring to do more art when you know the love someone has for one of your pieces. This is probably why I have decided to part with a lot of my work at this current time. I have about 100 paintings that are sitting in storage. Sadly they are collecting dust. As I dig out some of these pieces they bring back a lot of memories and stories that need to be shared, admired, and left to interpretation.

It feels really good to free myself of a lot of my past work just to look forward to the new creative direction that I seek.

So, it is time for me to move into my dream loft. I will have plenty of space for new art, and exploring all sorts of new styles. I'm very excited.

However, I ran into some short comings so I'm going to start selling off some paintings. Friends, I know you have been waiting for the moment to come. So here is painting number one.
